Every day more patients are diagnosed with cancer or rare diseases. Advances in NGS hardware and software over recent decades show the promises this technology can yield for precision medicine. Unfortunately, NGS sample preparation tools have not adapted to meet the increasingly complex needs of sequencing.
 
NGS sample preparation is more costly and often more time-consuming than sequencing. To manage expenses, laboratories often wait to accumulate large batches of samples before processing them. Patients agonize with each delay. Scientists can’t innovate fast enough.
